Who we are
Stylewright (“the extension”, “we”, “us”) is a browser extension developed by Zeynep Nur Asker. For any privacy question or data request, contact tezaapps@gmail.com.
The short version
- The extension analyzes web pages entirely on your device. The colors, typography, spacing, and other styles it reads from a page are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, or any telemetry that sends your browsing or page content off your device.
- The only network request the extension makes is to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to activate and validate a Pro license key.
What data the extension handles
1. Page content you analyze — processed locally, never collected
When you click the extension and run an extraction (or use element-inspect), it reads the computed styles of the current page using standard browser APIs. This data is processed in memory on your device to produce the design tokens you see, and is discarded when you close the panel or navigate away. It is never sent to our servers or any third party. We have no servers that receive page data.
2. License information — stored locally on your device
If you purchase Pro and activate a license key, the extension stores the following in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local):
- your license key,
- the activation instance ID returned by Lemon Squeezy,
- the email address associated with your purchase (returned by Lemon Squeezy so the extension can show which account is active),
- a cached “paid” flag and the time it was last verified.
This information stays on your device. It is used solely to unlock Pro features and is never sold, shared, or used for any other purpose. You can erase all of it at any time by deactivating your license in the extension or by removing the extension.
3. License validation — sent to Lemon Squeezy
To activate or validate your license, the extension sends your license key over HTTPS to Lemon Squeezy’s License API (https://api.lemonsqueezy.com). Lemon Squeezy returns whether the key is valid and the email tied to the purchase. We do not send your page content, browsing history, or any other personal data in these requests.
Lemon Squeezy is our payment processor and Merchant of Record; your purchase and payment data are handled by them under their privacy policy: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
What we do not collect
- No browsing history or web activity.
- No page content, text, or screenshots leaving your device.
- No analytics, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, or personal communications.
- We do not sell or rent any data, ever.
Permissions and why we ask for them

The extension can read the pages you visit only to extract their styles, and only on your device — that data is never transmitted anywhere (see above). The single network request is license validation to Lemon Squeezy (https://api.lemonsqueezy.com, covered by the https://* host access).
Data security
All network communication uses HTTPS. License data is stored by your browser’s built-in extension storage on your own device. We operate no servers that store your personal data.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)
Because the only personal data we touch is your license key and the email tied to it — and these live on your device and with Lemon Squeezy — you can:
- Access / view this data directly in the extension.
- Delete it by deactivating your license and/or uninstalling the extension.
- For purchase records held by Lemon Squeezy, exercise your rights with them via their privacy policy, or contact us at tezaapps@gmail.com and we will assist.
EU/UK users: our legal basis for processing the license key/email is performance of a contract (delivering the Pro features you bought). We retain locally-stored license data only as long as the extension is installed.
Children
The extension is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country).
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date, and reflect the change in the Web Store listing.
